Airplants, you say? What the heck kind of plant grows in the air? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tillandsia are epiphytic plants that don’t need soil to grow. They like lots of bright, indirect light and need to be watered by either soaking them or spraying them with water. They like a light, airplant-specific fertilizer spray too.
These beauties are great for a newbie plant parent and will bloom if given the right care. These blooms are beautiful, but usually mean the plant is coming to the end of its life. Do not fret though, they will usually produce pups or offshoots when this happens, and the cycle begins again! We have two cool specimens in the webshop now that are waiting for their new homes!
